Senior Design Project

I worked on a team with 6 others at Purdue's Design-Build-Fly (DBF) Senior Design project. Over the course of 4 months, we worked to conceptualize, and design a vehicle to compete against other teams based on a Request for Proposal. I worked on requirements, conceptual design, aircraft sizing and weight estimation, control surfaces design, and several manufacturing tasks.

The Banana split stood out as the only twin engine design and completed two successful flights. With a (flown) payload of 432 grams, our design bought home third prize in the poster presentation along side beautiful 3d printed trophies.
